Our Projects
PEL’S Farms Foundation develops a close relationship with developmental partners to channel out projects which are sustainable, community focused whiles positively transforming lives.
Our projects are centered around agribusiness, ceramics, arts, education and developmental projects that are community focused and sustainable. Wherever, there is a problem, PEL’S Farms Foundations identify solutions.
Some of the projects executed by the Foundation are;
1) Tierra Shapes Ceramics – A community-based ceramic factory established in partnership with MTN Ghana.

In 2025, PEL’S Farms Foundation went into a partnership agreement with MTN Ghana under the MTN Yello Care Banner to establish a Tierra Shapes Ceramics that is aimed at building a modern clay pottery producing factory. This factory is equipped with innovative technological machinery like jiga and jolly, pugmills, wheeling machines, kilns etc. to ensure that clay products from this factory meet international standards whiles producing efficiently and under very good health conditions. Forty (40) female and twenty (20) male potters of the Torgome Traditional area are going to be trained and further given full time employment. Under its Pay Forward Policy, all trainees are jointly expected to 500 potters of the Torgome Traditional Area.
For over 10 decades, the female potters of the Torgome traditional area have been using the very traditional means of clay pot production which is not efficient and adversely affect their health. Furthermore, these women hardly make economic gains through this method.

Socio-Economic Impact
- Over 1000 direct and indirect employment would be created.
- 20 Direct employment for 15 female potters and 5 male potters after a three-month training program.
- Over 5000 households in the Torgome Traditional area would be positively impacted.
- Uplift the general socio-economic status of the Torgome Traditional Area.
- Additional 4 satellite factories will be established to give more opportunities to the female potters.

PEL’S Farms Foundation is projecting to establish four additional satellite factories in Azagonokope, Essokope, Nakpoe and Torgome, all communities in the Torgome Traditional Area by the end 2028. In order to make this possible, it looks forward to partnering with interested organizations to implement this life-changing project.
2) World Connect Partnered Projects.
Since 2022, World Connect which is now also referred to as Mudzi Connect has partnered with PEL’S Farms Foundation to deliver two main projects;
a) Ensuring Sustainable Agriculture Through Best Farm Practices.
- This project trained 60 small –holder farmers in the Ningo-Prampram District of the greater Accra Region. 40 female small holder farmers and 20 male smallholder farmers benefited from this project.
- Each participant was given a fertilizer applicator bag for use on their respective farms.

Impact
Beneficiaries have since experienced increased yield as a result of the lessons learnt and the free distribution of fertilizer applicator bags that each received.
b) Construction Of a Pottery Studio, Supply of Pottery Equipment And Enrichment Training Program.
Construction work is ongoing on this pottery studio.
Impact
When completed, an enrichment training program would be conducted to ensure that the skills of beneficiaries are polished for enhanced productivity and socio-economic benefit.
3) PEL’S Farms Foundation Organized Study Trip.
PEL’S Farms Foundation organized an all-expense paid three weeks intensive onsite practical training workshop for ten female potters from Torgome in the Volta Region of Ghana. This move was in the right direction as it enlightened the horizon and perspective of the beneficiaries. This further made them appreciate and accept the need to have modern clay pot making factories in their respective communities.

4) SackRevolution.
PEL’S Farms Foundation co-founded SackRevolution, a whatsapp platform that teaches urban dwellers how to successfully grow crops in sacks and other receptacles. As most urban dwellers hardly have land to grow crops, optimizing the little spaces available in their homes to grow vegetables and other crops have been very relieving for many. Currently the platform has over 185 members from across Africa. Many have made a profession out of growing in sacks and other receptacles either as a full-time career or as a side business. This success is because of innovation and dedication by the PEL’S Farms Foundation team and its partners.
5) Leveraging Innovations in New Communities (LINC) grant project. A partnered project with Mandela Washington Fellows.
PEL’S Farms Foundation partnered with Mandela Washington Fellows to execute a link project that trained 30 female professionals with the desire of venturing into farming as a business. Participants were given in house and field trip training on how to start a farm business and the best agricultural protocols that will enhance sustainable agribusiness.
Five (5) of the trainees are currently into full-time farming whiles nine ( 9) are actively doing business along the agribusiness value chain.
6)Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) – A partnered project with Mandela Washington Fellows.
Between 2022 and 2023, PEL’S Farms Foundation partnered with Mandela Washington fellows to execute an Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF)- The project trained 100 small holder farmers in Dawa in the Ningo Prampram and Kwamekrom in the Biakoye Districts of Ghana. The training was dubbed; Ensuring Sustainable Agriculture through Climate Smart Practices.
Participants were trained on the adverse effect of harsh climatic conditions on their farm businesses and how to curb through agroforestry and adhering to best farm protocols. About one thousand (1,000) coconut, cashew and mango trees were shared to participants to inter crop on their farms.
Its been three years and the PEL’S team has received positive feedback on how well the crops are doing.
